Sanxenxo, Spain

Our journey from Muxía to Sanxenxo was blessed with a gorgeous sunny sky and temperatures hovering in the low 20s°C (70s°F). The winds did not pick up quite as much as predicted in PredictWind, resulting in an easy but long 11-hour sail. Still, we relished in the tranquil beauty of the sea.

Sanxenxo, known as one of Galicia’s tourism capitals, greeted us with its charming beach resort vibes. While it’s early in the season and not overly crowded, we saw plenty of people lounging on the beach, soaking up the sun. After anchoring, we enjoyed a relaxing stroll onshore for dinner. Even at 11pm, the sky wasn’t fully dark, and the streets buzzed with activity, making our night in Sanxenxo a delightful end to a perfect day.
